Monday:  Transformations on a Coordinate Plane

Learning Target:  Students will graph ordered pairs and transform figures on a coordinate plane.

Tuesday:  Arithmetic Sequences

Learning Target:  Students will use sequences to find patterns and create a rule (formula) that will them find the nth number.

  • What is an arithmetic sequence?
    • Find the next three numbers.

      • 1, 2, 4, 8, __, __, __, …
      • -11, -4, 3, __, __, __, …
      • And more
    • What is the difference between arithmetic and geometric sequences?

Friday:  AIA Relations Project

Learning Target:  Finding patterns and Rules in Arithmetic Sequences.
