Monday: Finish Lesson 7-4 & Start Lesson 7-5 Graphing Systems of Inequalities
Goal: Solve systems of equations using multiplication/elimination and graph systems of inequalities for possibly solutions.

Tuesday: Lesson 7-5 “Real Life Examples”
Goal: Solve Systems of equations and inequalities to find the answer to real life problems.
- Present and solve a Warm-up problem on systems of inequalities.
- Small groups and assign each one a story problem dealing with systems of equations.
Wednesday: Quiz on 7-4 and 7-5
Goal: Solve Systems of equations and inequalities.

Monday: AIA Slope Project II Due and Take Assessment
Goal: Students will use slope to find the roads leading to the enemy camps, note the roads as linear equations, and create a false path for the enemy to follow.
- Students will have some time to complete the entire project.
- Students will take the assessment that indicates they are knowledgeable about using the codes and equations.
- Lesson 7-4 Discussion about Scatter Plots.
- Students will explain the graph using the labels given in the scatter plot.
Tuesday: AIA Project III Families of Linear Graphs & Parallel and perpendicular lines.
Goal: Students will graph Linear Equations, Find Families of Linear Graphs, and write lines that are parallel and perpendicular.
- Students will start by graphing several linear equations
- Students will identify enemy locations by finding where three or more lines intersect.
- Students will graph these lines and find parallel and perpendicular lines that go with them

Monday: Presentation of Lessons 7-2 & 7-3
Goal: Find the intersection point of a system of linear equations by using the substitution method and the elimination method.
- Group presentations of Problems from Lesson 7-2 “Substitution”
- Each group will have a few minutes to quickly prepare for the presentation
- Groups can use the Smart Board or the Chalk Board
- Take Notes
- Group presentations of Problems from Lesson 7-3 “Elimination”
- Students should take notes for examples.
- Worksheet 7-2 & 7-3 Due Tomorrow
- Students should only have to finish the side they did not do for today.
Tuesday: Quiz on Lessons 7-1 through 7-3
Goal: Students will be assessed on their skills solving linear equations for their intersecting point.
- Go over Worksheet 7-2 & 7-3
- Quiz on 1st half of Chapter 7
- Students can use notes and calculators.
- Real World Problems dealing with systems of equations
Wednesday: Lesson 7-4 Elimination with Multiplication
Goal: This takes the elimination method used in Lesson 7-3 to the next level by using Multiplication to start the elimination process.
- Warm-up Problem “Find the intersection of a system of linear equations”
- Lesson 7-4 EXAMPLE
- 3x + 2y = 4
- 5x – y = 11
- Answer is (2, -1)
