Math Survey Week of 3-31-2008
All Week Note: The Students will have work time on a WebQuest on Volume & Surface Area. This project will be due on Thursday.
Monday: Volume and Surface Area Assessment
Goal: Students will use the correct formula and are successful at finding the volume and surface area of 3-D Objects.
- All Students will take the assessment
- Students can use;
- Note Packets
- Book for formulas
- Calculator
- Students can use;
- WebQuest work when finished
- Computer Lab
Tuesday through Thursday: WebQuest and Assessment Time
Goal: Learn about Great World Architecture and find the volume and surface area of the buildings.
- Students that do not achieve a C or better on the assessment will be reassessed on Volume and Surface Area.
- Students will continue to be reassessed each day until they are successful.
- Students can use;
- Note Packet given to them at the beginning of the Chapter
- Text Book
- Calculator
- Students that achieved a satisfactory score on the assessment will use the math computer lab to work a project dealing with volume and surface area.
