Algebra 1 Week of 3-10-2008
Weekly Goal: Chapter 5 Test on Thursday!
- Students will be given a Chapter 5 Practice test on Monday. We will go through it on Wednesday for understanding.
Monday: AIA Project Part III
Goal: Graph linear equations in Slope-Intercept form and identify families of graphs & lines that are perpendicular.
- AIA Project “Intersecting Lines”
- Students will graph paper and project sheets
- Class Work time
- Students can ask for help from students with different color projects
Tuesday: AIA Project Part III
Goal: Write equations to lines created by project goals. Draw parallel and perpendicular lines and write equations in slope-intercept for them.

- Class Work time
- Students can ask for help from students with different color projects
Wednesday: AIA Project III and Prepare for Chapter 5 Test
Goal: Write equations to lines created by project goals. Draw parallel and perpendicular lines and write equations in slope-intercept for them. Review Chapter 5.
- Go over Chapter 5 Practice Test given to them on Monday

Thursday: Chapter 5 Test
Goal: Students will write and graph equations in slope-intercept form, standard form, and point-slope form.
- Chapter 5 Test
- Students can use;
- Calculators
- Notes
- Vocabulary Sheets (Due after test)
- Students can earn EXTRA CREDIT by taking the Chapter 5 Practice Test. Turn in before test.
- Work on AIA Project
Friday: AIA Project Completion
